I would like to request prayer from Son Life's powerful team of prayer warriors, for my dear friend Gary Shannon, who will be undergoing complicated prostate surgery on Monday, Sept. 21st. Gary is not a believer, and is filled with anxiety and fear about his future. His cancer was not determined until it had significantly progressed, and while his prognosis is good, some serious long term side effects are possible. Please pray for Gary's perfect healing, and that the procedure will go smoothly and without complication. Please ask God to give Gary HIS peace and calm during this difficult time, and to grant his wife Paula the strength and courage she needs to help lift her husband up as they go through this together.
I want to ask for prayer for my cousin Carolina Castro, she is battling with cancer and her Dr. has given her 6 months to live if she gets the treatments they recomend or 1year if she continues to get alternative medicine but I tell her not to give up hope and leave it to God, to decide when she is dieing, because I know that God can and will heal her, but she also needs to trust him and believe it can be all done in Jesus Name.
I would like continued prayers to go out to my wife Danna. Please pray the holy spirit touches her heart and she has conviction to draw to the Lord, turn her life over to Jesus and attend church with me. Please pray that if it is the Lord' will to heal and restore our marriage.
I ask the powerful prayer warriors of Son Life, to continually pray for me that I find a job working with people as soon as possible, that I may keep my home. The Lord knows my heart, my needs and my desires (and the balance on my checkbook, Lol). I trust that if anyone can make this happen it is Jesus and if his will is that I walk away from my home please pray that he discloses that information to me so that I make other living arrangments.
